Bio-Enzyme Cleaning Chemicals for Facilities Management

Contract cleaners and facilities managers look after washrooms, floors, kitchens and drains across many buildings, often with the same small set of products. GEARTH covers those daily jobs with bio-enzyme products that keep working in drains and traps after the clean.

The problems facilities management sites face, and what we use

01

Daily washroom and surface cleaning

Multipurpose Cleaner is a concentrated bio-enzyme cleaner carrying a minimum of 10⁸ CFU per ml. It cleans on contact with no dwell time for routine surfaces, and the cultures digest the organic soil behind odours. It works through foam-trigger dispensers at low water volumes.

02

Urinal and toilet odour

P-Pods and P-Blocks sit in the urinal outlet and dose cultures into the trap and pipework, removing odour at source instead of masking it. FreshFlush is a cistern block that doses a nine-enzyme system with every flush and lasts up to a month per block.

03

Floor care cycles

FloorLift strips acrylic polish and sealer, FloorShield 15 and 25 seal and glaze in one product (the 25 grade for heavy traffic and a higher gloss), and FloorGlow is a mop-and-bucket polish diluted 1:10.

04

Slow drains and canteen grease traps

DrainZyme gives drains a shock dose and then a weekly maintenance dose, working enzymatically within seconds and biologically for days afterwards. BioTrap treats canteen grease traps at 833 ml per trap per day, dosed after hours.

05

Hand hygiene and disinfection

PureBody is a probiotic hand wash, and PureSan is an alcohol-free, non-flammable hand sanitiser applied at about 2 ml. Where a disinfection step is required, PureSurface goes on after cleaning.

Facilities Management: frequently asked questions

Can one product clean washrooms, kitchens and floors?

Multipurpose Cleaner covers washroom surfaces, urinals, floors, kitchen surfaces and drains. Diluted, it needs no dwell time for routine cleaning, and floors do not need rinsing for the cultures to keep working.

Can we still disinfect when using bio-enzyme products?

Yes, as a separate step after cleaning. Disinfectants destroy the active cultures, so they should not be mixed with the bio-enzyme products or used in the same step.

How do we deal with persistent urinal odour?

Replace deodorant blocks or mats with P-Pods or P-Blocks. They dose cultures into the urinal, trap and pipework to digest the waste that causes the odour. Clean the urinal with Multipurpose Cleaner, not bleach.

What does a floor care cycle look like?

Strip with FloorLift, seal and glaze with two to four coats of FloorShield 15 or 25, and maintain with FloorGlow at 1:10. Strip and reapply after about 20 FloorGlow applications.

Can we trial products in one building first?

Yes. We consult on the building and its problems, run a trial there, and then supply the pack sizes that suit your portfolio.
