How to use Heavy Duty Degreaser

Dilute Heavy Duty Degreaser to suit the hydrocarbon load on the surface. The microbes keep digesting after application, so it dilutes further than a conventional solvent degreaser. We set the exact ratio with you for each application.

Dilute: match the ratio to the hydrocarbon load. We confirm it for your application.

Apply: by spray, brush, pressure washer or wash bay dosing onto the contaminated surface.

Dwell: give the cultures time on the soil. Unlike a solvent, the cleaning action continues rather than flashing off.

Agitate and rinse: agitate where needed and rinse. The discharge water carries the active cultures, which continue working on C.O.D. and T.P.H. downstream.

Tanks and confined spaces: confirm ventilation and your confined space entry procedure before use. The product reduces the ability of hydrocarbons to ignite, but it does not replace a confined space protocol.

Do not mix with caustics, high chlorine concentrations or solvents. These destroy the active cultures.

Store sealed at ambient temperature, out of direct sunlight, and do not allow to freeze.

What dilution should I use?

Will it damage rubber, plastic or painted signwriting?

No. It does not damage rubber or plastic engine and vehicle components, forms a protective layer on metals and does not fade signwriting.

Can I use it with bleach or other cleaners?

No. Caustics, high chlorine concentrations and solvents destroy the active cultures, so keep it separate from those products.
