  • Suited to high-traffic commercial, retail and institutional floors
  • Eco-friendly formulation for facilities reducing their chemical footprint

Applications

  • High-traffic commercial and retail floors
  • Institutional floors requiring a high-gloss show finish
  • Sites needing longer intervals between re-coating cycles

How to use FloorShield 25

Apply FloorShield 25 in thin coats over a clean, dry floor. The higher solids mean each coat takes longer to dry than the 15% grade, so allow for that in your schedule.

  1. Prepare: strip old polish where required and clean the floor thoroughly with a GEARTH bio-enzyme floor cleaner. Rinse and let it dry completely.
  2. Apply: lay thin, even coats with a clean applicator or flat mop, working in one direction. Do not flood the surface.
  3. Dry: let each coat dry fully before the next. Drying takes longer than with FloorShield 15.
  4. Build: apply two to four coats, depending on substrate porosity and the gloss level required.
  5. Cure: keep traffic off the floor until the final coat has cured.

About FloorShield 25

FloorShield 25 builds a thicker, harder glaze per coat than the 15% grade, for a deeper gloss and more resistance to abrasion. It is a sealing and glazing floor polish at 25% solids. Specify it for high-traffic commercial and institutional floors, or wherever you need a high-gloss show finish and longer intervals between maintenance coats.

FloorShield 25: frequently asked questions

When should I choose FloorShield 25 over FloorShield 15?

Choose FloorShield 25 for high traffic, a high-gloss show finish and longer re-coat intervals. FloorShield 15 suits light to moderate traffic and routine maintenance coats.

Does it take longer to dry?

Yes. The higher solids content extends drying time compared with the 15% grade, so let each coat dry fully before the next.

How many coats are needed?

Two to four, depending on substrate porosity and the gloss level required. The higher solids mean fewer coats to reach a high-gloss finish.

Do I need a separate sealer coat?

No. It seals and glazes in a single product.
