Every GEARTH formula is powered by bio-enzymes: naturally occurring proteins found in every living organism. In nature, enzymes perform millions of essential tasks every second, from digesting food and repairing cells to breaking down organic matter. Each enzyme has one specific job, recognising only certain materials, much like a key fits only one lock.

When an enzyme encounters its target, such as grease, proteins, starches or food residue, it binds to it and breaks the large organic molecules into smaller, biodegradable compounds that can be rinsed away with water.
