A premium polymer dust suppressant for road dust management on mines, farms and rural roads, using a 5-system mode of action to bind fines and stabilise soil surfaces.
Dilute DustControl on site and apply it from a standard water cart, bowser or tractor-drawn spray bar as a normal watering pass. No specialised equipment is needed. Keep the mix at 10% or below; 2% to 5% is preferred for surface treatment, because the weaker solution penetrates further and runs off less.
DustControl binds fine particles into the surface of unsealed roads, so traffic lifts less dust and the road resists abrasion. It is a concentrated sodium lignosulfonate solution (40% to 50% active), a natural polymer recovered from wood pulping, and it is chloride free. Five mechanisms do the work: particle binding, charge attraction, moisture retention, clay dispersion and surface wetting. The lignin fraction resists rapid breakdown, so the binding typically lasts six to twelve months in service, depending on traffic, climate and substrate.
