EcoSolve

A heavy-duty, eco-friendly and naturally derived solvent cleaner, biodegradable, offering an effective and safer alternative to petroleum distillates and harsh solvents.

Key Features

  • Biodegradable: naturally derived from orange/pine fragrance oil origins
  • Doesn't contain hazards associated with butyl or harsh alkalies
  • Direct substitute for mineral spirits, MEK, acetone, toluene and chlorinated solvents
  • Freezing point of -90°C: suitable for cold-climate storage

Applications

  • Heavy duty degreasing of shops, floors, workbenches, tools and machinery
  • Concrete and floor cleaning: oil/grease drips, tyre marks, graffiti, tar
  • Parts washers and dip baths for vehicle maintenance
  • Marine vessel degreasing

How to use EcoSolve

Match the EcoSolve grade to the surface and the soil. Grades 5 to 20 are water-dilutable, for general cleaning and floor work by mop, bucket or floor scrubber. The stronger EcoSolve Pro grades (70 to 100) handle parts washing, spot and stain removal and cold environments. We will confirm the right grade with you.

  1. Select the grade: lower grades for water-dilutable cleaning and floors, EcoSolve Pro for parts washing, stains and cold sites.
  2. Test: try a small inconspicuous area first, especially on painted, coated or plastic surfaces.
  3. Apply: by spray, brush, mop and bucket, floor scrubber, dip bath or parts washer, as the job requires.
  4. Allow penetration: give it time to penetrate and lift the soil before agitating or rinsing.
  5. Recover: capture oil lifted from concrete or floors with an absorbent such as GEARTH SpillSorb, rather than flushing it to drain.

Where EcoSolve is used

Workshops and machinery

Heavy-duty degreasing of shops, floors, work benches, tools, mechanical repairs and machinery, and washing large equipment and trucks.

Concrete and parking areas

Oil spots, forklift tyre marks and grime on concrete pads, parking complexes and runways, with the lifted oil captured by an absorbent.

Graffiti and tar

Graffiti cleaned off concrete and tar removed from cement bridges. Strong enamels and cured epoxy paints are generally not removed.

Marine and shipping

Degreasing diesel engines and bearings, removing carbon deposits, and cleaning slop hoses and oil filters; it separates rapidly from water for oil-water separators.

Pack sizes

Choose by how much floor and equipment you degrease.

5 L

Small workshops and spot jobs.

25 L

Workshop floors, benches and machinery cleaned regularly.

210 L

Parking complexes, depots and plants with large floor areas.

1 000 L

Bulk supply for airports, ports and large maintenance operations.

EcoSolve: frequently asked questions

What is the difference between EcoSolve and EcoSolve Pro?

The chemistry is the same; only the working strength differs. EcoSolve grades 5 to 20 are water-dilutable for general cleaning and floors. EcoSolve Pro grades 70 to 100 are for parts washers, stain removal and cold sites.

Does it contain petroleum solvents?

No. It is a naturally derived, biodegradable solvent replacement and contains no butyl and no harsh alkalis.

Will it strip paint?

It removes most contact adhesives and paints, but generally not strong enamels or cured epoxies. Test a small area first.

What do I do with the oil it lifts from a floor?

Capture it with an absorbent such as GEARTH SpillSorb rather than flushing it to drain.
