BioDish

A highly concentrated, neutral-pH bio-enzyme dishwashing liquid that cleans dishes and cutlery while its bio-enzymes simultaneously treat fat traps, drain lines, plumbing and septic systems with every wash.

Also available for household use in 750ml

Key Features

  • Plant-derived, biodegradable surfactant blend
  • Highly concentrated: a small amount cleans a full sink load
  • Neutral pH (6.5 to 8.0), non-irritating under normal use
  • Bio-enzyme technology treats fat traps, drain lines and septic systems with every use
  • Keeps dishes free of harmful pathogens for days via Competitive Exclusion

Applications

  • Commercial and institutional kitchens
  • Hospitality, catering and food processing facilities
  • Facilities connected to fat traps, septic tanks or municipal sewer infrastructure
  • Domestic and residential use

How to use BioDish

Dose BioDish through its dispensing nozzle or a dispenser pump straight into the sink as it fills. You control the amount at the point of use instead of pouring. It is highly concentrated: up to a third less product than some conventional dishwashing liquids.

  1. Dose: dispense through the supplied nozzle or a dispenser pump into the sink as it fills. For heavy grease, increase the dose rather than pre-diluting.
  2. Wash: wash as normal. High grease loads benefit from a short soak first.
  3. Rinse: rinse with clean water. The formula is non-streaking and does not need a rinse aid for manual washing.
  4. Drain benefit: let the wash water go down the sink at the end of the shift, so the cultures work on the U-bend and waste line overnight.

Where BioDish is used

Commercial kitchens and canteens

Manual dishwashing where every sink of dishes also doses the drain line with fat-digesting cultures.

Restaurants, bakeries and takeaways

Greasy pots and pans cleaned with a nine-enzyme grease-cutting system, while U-bends and waste lines are kept free of fat build-up.

Hotels, hospitals and schools

Hospitality back-of-house, clinics, care facilities, school and hostel kitchens that want fewer drain odours and blockages.

Homes on septic tanks

Domestic and estate use, including septic-served properties, where the phosphate-free formula benefits the septic system.

BioDish: frequently asked questions

How much BioDish should I use?

Dispense through the supplied nozzle or a dispenser pump as the sink fills. For heavy grease, increase the dose rather than pre-diluting. It is highly concentrated, so it uses up to a third less product than some conventional liquids.

Do I need a rinse aid?

Not for manual washing. The formula is non-streaking; rinse with clean water.

How does it help my drains?

The enzyme-producing cultures keep working after the wash, travelling down the U-bend and waste line to digest fat, oil and grease and remove drain odours at source.

Is it suitable for septic tanks?

Yes. It is phosphate free and benefits septic tanks, sewer lines and wastewater treatment systems.

Can I add bleach to the wash?

No. Bleach, disinfectants and high chlorine concentrations destroy the active cultures.
